Quartz has a Mohs hardness of 7, a vitreous luster and a trigonal crystal structure; it commonly forms in pegmatitic settings. Its gentle pink color is associated with microscopic fibrous silicate inclusions resembling dumortierite.
Classified as natural Grade B under the brand’s selection criteria, these stones display a light pink hue, cloudy to opaque appearance and/or more than 25% natural matrix. “Lemurian” is a commercial and cultural designation, not a separate mineral species.
