LAZZERINI-GEOJOIAS, following modern concepts of jewelry in natural and handcrafted crystals, brings you another very characteristic natural gemstone from Brazil. A precious stone that is so rare that it is practically unknown.
Here, in an exclusive American link necklace, with a handcrafted pendant in wire mesh (both plated in hypoallergenic white rhodium) and containing a very rare crystal (5.5 ct) of Euclase, gemological grade EXTRA, bicolor blue and white, banded in Elestial prism; exclusive to the Ouro Preto region – Minas Gerais – Brazil.
Euclase is an aluminum and beryllium hydroxide silicate with the formula Be3Al2Si6O18. It belongs to the mineral group of Beryls (Emerald, Aquamarine, Morganite), but being of another crystalline group and with another density. It mostly occurs with few inclusions, well-defined prismatic and striated natural habits, such as fine, parallel lines slightly notched along its flat crystal faces (longitudinal direction).
Its vitreous luster, transparency, blue color, prismatic habit (euhedral/subhedral), with points (terminations) and bands of different colors; are the properties most appreciated in gemological valuation. Its coloration occurs due to varying amounts of iron impurities or transitions from ferrous iron (Fe2+) to ferric iron (Fe3+) or titanium (Ti4+).
One of its most striking characteristics is its pleochroism, which refers to its ability to display different colors when viewed from different angles. This phenomenon adds depth and complexity to the gemstone's appearance, making it highly sought after by jewelers, enthusiasts, and high-end collectors.
It is a fairly rare mineral in nature, frequently exhibiting gemological properties. Since the 18th century, Brazil has stood out as the world's leading producer, especially of the historic deposits associated with the Imperial Topaz of Ouro Preto - Minas Gerais.
Historic because the first specimens of Euclase discovered came from Brazil in 1785. The French naturalist Joseph Dombey brought them to Europe in 1785, where the French mineralogist René Just Haüy studied and named the new gem species in 1792. Thus, it is considered the second Brazilian mineral, right after the description of Chrysoberyl in 1789.
In this very rare specimen of this Elestial crystal mineral, it is a type of mineral that has complex and unusual natural terminations in the body and faces of the stones. It frequently presents patterns of lines, depressions and raised terminations (related to the crystalline structure) engraved on its surface, as well as re-entrant formations. It may present a single large central termination with numerous smaller points arranged around it, creating a complex and otherworldly appearance. Symbolism and Energy Traditions
The name "Euclase" comes from two Greek terms: eu, meaning "easily," and klasis, meaning "fractured" or "broken."
Also called Blue Emerald, Star of India, and Stone of Happiness, it is believed to have metaphysical properties: calm and tranquil energy, happiness, altruism, benevolence, serenity, and positivity. It stimulates communication/expression, self-knowledge, and clarity; it is a powerful antiseptic. White color: represents receptivity, humility, and sincerity.
Zodiac: Virgo and Sagittarius. Chakras: Third Eye and Crown. Birth: March and April.
The Elestial Crystal is considered the "King of Crystals" because its frequency is believed to control the energy entering the body. This helps to achieve the ideal energy level for the organism to function fully and comfortably. It is deeply rooted in ancient civilizations and their spiritual practices. It was used by ancient shamans and healers to connect with the divine and gain spiritual insights.
It is believed to be linked to the Akashic Records, a compendium of all human events past, present, and future. It has been revered for centuries for its profound metaphysical properties and its ability to access higher planes of consciousness. Transformative, it is widely used in meditations as it regulates the flow of energy, allowing you to choose which energy to accept or reject, and is ideal for dealing with burnout syndrome.
