A gift from the Sun in the form of a crystal. This exclusive LAZZERINI-GEOJOIAS gemstone features a natural fragment of Heliodor (Yellow Beryl) hyaline euhedral crystal – EXTRA Grade, clustered in a druse of rare Fluorescent Purple Scheelite crystals (19.0 ct); preserved in their original prismatic forms — “faceted by nature” and enhanced by handcrafted wirework. The white rhodium plating finish enhances the vitreous shine of the Heliodor and the dark purple color of the Scheelite prisms, delivering a modern, elegant, and luminous look.
This is an extremely rare geological occurrence, where these two minerals occur together with such gemological qualities. Beryl is one of the most celebrated mineral families in gemology: it includes Aquamarine, Morganite, Goshenite, Emerald, and in the case of Heliodor, its color varies from golden-yellow to lemon-yellow, and it can also present greenish-yellow nuances — shades associated with the presence of iron in its structure. Its typical habit is hexagonal prismatic, with well-marked natural faces, making the crystal a true "ready-made design" created by geology.
It is a cyclosilicate (ring silicate) that crystallizes in the hexagonal system, generally as six-sided prisms, short to long, with distinct planar or modified planar terminations. The strong atomic bonding gives beryl a substantial Mohs hardness of 7.5-8.0, which makes it well-suited for use in jewelry.
HELIODOR
Yellow Beryl is less common and less well-known than other varieties of Beryl, with great appeal for those seeking exclusivity. Euhedral prismatic crystal, hyaline and vitreous luster - EXTRA gemological grade.
Symbolism (traditional view) - Heliodor
Heliodor is called the "Gift of the Sun" and, in contemporary traditions, is associated with mental clarity, optimism, focus and strength of achievement — a gemstone to illuminate intentions and bring positive energy to everyday life.
They are energizing, bringing optimism to our lives. It also helps us communicate on a higher level. It builds character. It helps in new beginnings, bringing the necessary strength and resilience. Great stone for business and competitive sports. Decision-making becomes easier with this stone. Compassion is amplified by it. It releases old ideas and habits. Great for treating depression, anxiety and worry.
Heliodor strengthens and stabilizes the heartbeat, is beneficial for digestion and the kidneys. It also relieves back pain and is traditionally considered an antidote to idleness! It empowers people to be more compassionate in their daily lives. The Greeks believed that this crystal contained the power and strength of the Sun and that it was responsible for the alternation between day and night.
It is believed to provide a clear mind and help in problem-solving; it can be said that it grants the strength of the sun to face and solve daily problems. It can also be used as a tool to increase concentration when working towards a specific goal. It brings us the energy and feelings we have on a beautiful sunny day, making us feel wonderful and happy. It strengthens the intellect and its ability to focus on projects. It helps us with ego problems and control issues.
This crystal was forgotten for a long time, but in recent times it has been rediscovered. It provides physical well-being and greater awareness, provides enthusiasm to achieve desired goals, facilitates spiritual love, clairvoyance, and transmutation. It is a protector of children and families, protecting them from bad external influences and invasions.
The warm tones of Heliodor help to gain emotional balance and wisdom. It brings calm and pleasure, creates an atmosphere of relaxation and fun. It is said that the woman who wears Heliodor will have many more admirers.
This crystal also activates the Crown Chakra. The Solar Plexus is our power center, and this crystal helps us to balance this energy constructively; as well as those related to the Heart chakra.
SCHEELITE
It is a calcium tungstate mineral commonly found in various geological environments. It has a high melting point, density, and strength.
The arrangement of tungstate and calcium ions in the structure gives rise to its distinct crystal habit and physical properties. Molybdenum impurities can give Scheelite a bluish hue.
Scheelite was first described in 1751 for an occurrence on Mount Bispbergs klack, Säter, Dalarna, Sweden, and named after Carl Wilhelm Scheele (1742-1786). Due to its unusual weight, the Swedes named it tungsten, meaning "heavy stone". The name was later used to describe the metal, while the ore itself was named scheelerz or scheelite.
Luster: the mineral generally exhibits a vitreous to adamantine luster when freshly fractured. Vitreous luster refers to a glassy appearance, while adamantine luster describes a brilliant, diamond-like sheen.
Transparency: It is generally translucent to opaque, meaning that light can pass through the mineral to varying degrees, but it is not transparent enough to be clearly seen.
Crystal habits: It generally occurs as prismatic or tabular crystals, usually with square or rectangular cross-sections. Crystals may be well-formed and exhibit distinct faces and edges. Other crystal habits include laminar, columnar, and granular forms.
Hardness: It has a hardness of 4.5 to 5.5 on the Mohs scale. This indicates that it can be scratched by harder minerals such as orthoclase or quartz, but it can scratch minerals with lower hardness.
Specific gravity: It has a relatively high specific gravity ranging from 5.9 to 6.1. This means that it is significantly denser and heavier than most common minerals.
Radiation protection: Tungsten possesses excellent radiation protection properties due to its high density and atomic number.
Fluorescence: One of the notable characteristics of Scheelite is its ability to fluoresce under ultraviolet (UV) light. When exposed to ultraviolet light, it can emit a bright blue or yellow glow, depending on the impurities present. This fluorescence property has made scheelite a highly sought-after mineral by collectors.
It may have small impurities and substitutions, which can affect its color and fluorescence properties. For example, the presence of molybdenum impurities can give Scheelite a bluish hue, while rare earth element substitutions can contribute to its fluorescence under ultraviolet light.
Known for its bluish-white fluorescence under UV light, formed by geological processes such as metamorphism and hydrothermalism, it does not have an intrinsic metaphysical meaning; its "metaphysics" lies in its geological properties and industrial use, as a source of tungsten for high technology.
Symbolism (traditional view) - Scheelite
Although there is no traditional "metaphysical" meaning, its strong fluorescence and connection with tungsten (a resistant metal) can be interpreted by some as symbolic of enlightenment and purity of vision; it can be seen metaphorically as a beacon for truth and strength.
Its fluorescence under UV light allows one to "see the invisible," finding the mineral in dark environments, which can be associated with the revelation of hidden truths or clarity.
Scheelite helps you recognize connected thoughts and spiritual signs to guide you on your path. It is good for developing psychic abilities, remote viewing, and shamanic journeying. Encourages spiritual grounding. Enhances intuition, aiding in the journey. This helps you know that your goals align with your soul's purpose and to put them into action.
Balances excess yang or masculine energy, especially in women. Acts as spiritual support for people who are unsure of their future path. Aligns the subtle bodies with the physical and re-energizes all levels.
It is helpful for people who are stuck in patterns of mental negativity and who keep repeating the same patterns. Assists in positive mental ideas so that your perspective changes and negativity disappears. Transforms negative energy into positive energy. Allows for creativity while increasing clarity and organizational skills.
It can assist in achieving goals by improving focus and commitment. Many find it helpful to meditate with it daily or keep a piece with them for better results.
Chakras: Sacral, Third Eye (Eyebrow), Solar Plexus, and Crown. Zodiac: Libra.
